Friday Night @The Buddha Lounge

Bakersfieldcelebs stopped in to visit one of our favorite DJ’s at The Buddha Lounge Friday night and the club was packed.   The new Bakersfield hot spot features’ a very cool bar, VIP seating, and an outside patio for drinking and smoking.   DJ Danny Boi had the dance floor packed and bartender Adrian was serving up the drinks.  We were going to visit some other bars Friday night, but we had so much fun we decided to stay at The Buddha Lounge.   Check out the photos!

The Buddha Lounge is located inside of the Desi Cafe, at 4837 Panama Ln., Bakersfield.

Mill Creek Project

The Mill Creek Project moves South across 18th Street near Mexicali Restaurant to connect with rest of the project near Truxtun in downtown Bakersfield.  This project has really brighten up the east side of the downtown area and is definitely worth taking a look!  Builders say the entire project should be done around August of this year.

Padre Hotel

The Padre Hotel, lots of buzz about the opening of this Five Star Hotel, restaurant, cafe, bar, and nightclub!  Bakersfieldcelebs had a tour about 3 weeks ago and all we have to say is amazing!  The rooms are W The Court quality, the bars and nightclub first class all the way, and the main entrance brings back the feel of days past. 

Opening date? We’ve heard January 25, 2010, and we’ll be there for it, with lots of photos to share.

We’ve invited all the local Celebs tonight!

Bakersfieldcelebs 1st Annual Holiday Party @The Nile!  Tonight we’ve invited all the big shots intown for one big party! Special “Celeb Shots” at the bar tonight, no dress code, $5 dollar cover, Vip Hosts, GoGo Dancers, and DJ Danny Boi in the mix.  Plus we’re shooting a new promo video tonight too!  Doors at 9 and be sure and stop by the Bakersfieldcelebs VIP! 

Halloween @The Nile

Every year The Nile packs them in for Halloween and this year was no exception!  Saturday night they gave away over $1500 in cash prizes, and the big winner was a Transformer character.  Check out the photos!

Pain Is Beauty Block Party

103 degree temperature didn’t stop people from coming out to the Pain Is Beauty’s customer appreciation block party in downtown Bakersfield.  There were all types of activities, vendors, food, and live performances.  The master mind behind the whole event was the Pain Is Beauty’s owner and it was a big success.  Check out the photos…

Thunder Run Bike Meet at Tilted Kilt

Thursday Night Tilted Kilt hosted the Thunder Run Bike meet and the parking lot was packed with the hottest bikes around.  The Fox 98.5 radio station was on hand and the very hot Kilt girls took a couple photos for us!  Check out the photos.

Noche De Rumba @ Cabana Palms

Wednesday Night the Latina Leaders of Kern County held the Noche De Rumba at Cabana Palms.  There were Free Salsa Lessons early in the night, then Dj Mikey Rock continued the night playing, merengue, cumbias, bachata, reggaeton, latin rock and hip hop.  The night was a huge success and Bakersfieldcelebs was told the event will be held again at Cabana Palms in early June.   Check out the photos…

Cabana Palms Thursday Night

If you like the VIP treatment, love to dance, good looking people, hot go-go dancers, and the best Dj’s in town;  Cabana Palms is the ticket.  Bakersfieldcelebs favorite night is Thursday’s at Cabana Palms and last night was no exception.  The club was packed, Dj Damage in the main room and Dj Danny Boi on the patio and both dance floors were hopping.  Check out the photos!

McMurphy’s Wednesday Night

Centrally located, McMurphy’s is a great meeting place no matter the occasion. You are sure to find a friendly face, a healthy pint, and the hospitality that McMurphy’s is famous for.  Wednesday night McMurphy’s transforms its self into a midtown nightclub with local celeb Dj Damage and the pub was packed.  Photos
