Tribal Belly Dancing Today @The Nile

Belly Dancing, tons of vendors, food, and lots of energy today at The Nile.  This is the second annual Tribal Belly Dancing Expo at The Nile and attendance has more than doubled since last year.  This event will go on until 9PM tonight so you still have plenty of time to come check it out.  The Nile, 1721 19th Street, in downtown Bakersfield.

Thunder Run Bike Meet at Tilted Kilt

Thursday Night Tilted Kilt hosted the Thunder Run Bike meet and the parking lot was packed with the hottest bikes around.  The Fox 98.5 radio station was on hand and the very hot Kilt girls took a couple photos for us!  Check out the photos.

Noche De Rumba @ Cabana Palms

Wednesday Night the Latina Leaders of Kern County held the Noche De Rumba at Cabana Palms.  There were Free Salsa Lessons early in the night, then Dj Mikey Rock continued the night playing, merengue, cumbias, bachata, reggaeton, latin rock and hip hop.  The night was a huge success and Bakersfieldcelebs was told the event will be held again at Cabana Palms in early June.   Check out the photos…

DJ Felli Fel at Cabana Palms Friday Night

Cabana Palms was packed Friday night to see DJ Felli Fel spin!   Dj Felli Fel put on an amazning show and mixed flawlessly all night.  James Andrew Reigart, better known by his stage name DJ Felli Fel is a club and radio DJ for L.A.’s Power 106, record producer, and a recording artist recently signed to So So Def/Island Urban Music. He is also a member of The Heavy Hitters DJs.

Zapp Performs Live @ Nile Nightclub Friday Night

 
Friday night Old School mega band “ZAPP” performed to a sold out house. Zapp (also known as the Zapp Band or Zapp and Roger) is a soul and funk band formed in 1978 by brothers Roger Troutman, Larry Troutman, Lester Troutman, Tony Troutman and Terry “Zapp” Troutman. Known for hits such as “More Bounce to the Ounce”, “Dance Floor” and “Computer Love”, the group was a partial source of inspiration to West Coast hip-hop and G-funk, which came out of the hand clapped-drum beat styled funk of Zapp’s records with Roger’s impressive use of the talk box becoming another reason for the group’s impact and its success.

Cabana Palms Thursday Night

If you like the VIP treatment, love to dance, good looking people, hot go-go dancers, and the best Dj’s in town;  Cabana Palms is the ticket.  Bakersfieldcelebs favorite night is Thursday’s at Cabana Palms and last night was no exception.  The club was packed, Dj Damage in the main room and Dj Danny Boi on the patio and both dance floors were hopping.  Check out the photos!

Centrally located, McMurphy’s is a great meeting place no matter the occasion.
